Reflection : International Friendship Day & Visit to the Organic Farm

This week is a busy week for all of us.
Yesterday, Monday (13/4), we had visited our Organic Farm. I am quite sure you could remember how big our Cucumber Plant was. Too bad, I did not have my camera along with me. Will try and take some photos during our next visit. Will update when it will be in due time.

I know some of you were involved in planting the chili plant. You had a chance to be a "farmer" when you tried to dig a hole. How was the feeling being a "farmer"?
Some of you managed to harvest the cucumber. The cucumbers were big and juicy right.

All of you were also involved in taking care of our booth for International Friendship Day. Our booth was for the country of Malta. You were in-charge of the language game that we had. Any interesting encounter you had? We also managed to visit the other booth today.

I would like to hear your comments on these 2 activities we had.

  7. I agree with you Valentin, Merjorie and Jeng Wei. I saw this bespectacled young boy who kept coming on. He also kept trying to tell the other people the answers. We had to give away sooooo many sweets to the gang of girls you were talking about, Merjorie.

  8. Jeng Wei, at least you manage to get the cucumber right. It is alright even if it is the smallest.

As for those pupils who kept on coming to our booth: Let's look at the positive side. This means they are really interested in our game that is why they kept on coming to our booth.
Do you know how many packets of sweets were given out in total for the 2 days?

    Almost 11 packets. :)
I think I still have some extras. I will pass it to all of you tomorrow.

I also didn't do anything special at the Organic Farm! Howerer, it was still a very fun and interesting experience as I got to see small and big cucumbers plucked by our classmates. I wish we can go there again. As for the booth, it was also very fun. I learned a lot of things from Malta at the notice board. The booth was also a experience that I will never ever forget. I wish I could go and stay back and use the booth again. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

  12. At the organic farm I dug a hole for the chilli plant but I did not dig it fast enough because we had to move on to the cucumber plant before I could dig the hole deep enough. At the Malta booth I had almost no free time because a boy kept on coming to the booth to play the game as he wanted to get sweets for his class's booth because they had run out of sweets. Gladys asked the quetions for the notice board quiz until her throat was sore and I had to take over her. Overall, I had a lot of fun.

  21. Great that all of you enjoyed yourself on the two different occasions.

  22. When I was at the Organic Farm, I did not get to do any of the activities but I still enjoyed myself. We counted the number of snails.
At the booth, I like to man the stall. A boy stole some of the sweets while he retrieved his own sweet that he put inside. I think the boy is inconsiderate.

  23. I suppose the quiz I made was pretty helpful. I got to dig a hole at the organic farm. Quite a nice experience to be like a farmer! I took JengWei's cucumber, if you wanted to know why he got the small one. I was the one who picked the small one. Lucky me!! Too bad, JengWei old pal! I helped out at the Malta booth too. I had loads of fun. LoTS OF BOYS STOLE OUR SWEETS!!! You should have seen how mad I was. I wanted to tell their teacher, but too bad I still had to take care of the booth as Rachel went to the bathroom and Sean went to the water cooler. I am planning to make a salad from the cucumber I got. My mum is resting now as she has been watching me take my swimming test, and has no time to buy the ingredients. Guess What!! I passed my silver award swimming test. I had a gold timing today, although I was sick. I was a little feverish and had a bad cough and a runny nose. I was the second person to finish the whole course! I feel much better now because I have already taken my Vitamin C pills. I have no time to visit the doctor. Anyway, I still have some leftover medicine from December last year. My parents keep telling me to drink more water and plenty of rest. I don't feel like doing that. I keep reading my storybooks. My WHOLE family is asleep now, except me. My brother tells me I am way too hyper! Im pretty active. There is a new movie called monsters vs aliens. Its a comedy show. Rachel, remember to catch the channel U 7.30 pm show at night. See ya tmrow!

  24. To everyone, I liked the Organic Farm although I did not get to harvest the cucumbers or bring one home. I also had fun at our Malta booth since I was one of the booth owners. I agree with Esme that a boy from the booth beside ours came to play our game; not only did he play, he cheated as well.

It was fun to cut away the stalk of the cucumber. I also digged a hole. It was difficult as digging needed alot of strength. It was very hot at the organic farm. Over there, there were many caterpillars and snails. One caterpillar went into Mdm Surianar shoe... I wonder how does it feel like. At class, Mdm Surianar did not called out my register number so I did not have a cucumber. So unlucky... :(
It was fun to be holding the booth. What I was angry that almost all the p5 boys wanted to cheat. They looked at the answer... Luckily, me and fennie saw them and scolded them... Some bad boys even wanted to steal our sweets. Some wanted to change their sweets, Fennie told them to take it leave it and then the bad boys went away. In the end, it was a fun experience that I wish it could repeat again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again... He He...

  29. TOO BAD, jengwei.anyway there may have another time next week if the weather is kind to us. I hope so.
Valentin, you are correct that my swimming is not related to this, but this is a blog, and a blog is where you tell everybody about your day.am i right?
Mdm Suriana, can I ask you where the english games are? they seem like they have disappeared.also, why haven't you commented on MY comments?
Merjorie,Jengwei,Ayano,Nathanael and many others who said that the boys or girls are stealing sweets, I think it is because of their behaviour. When primary students start to turn into their early teens, they start to do horrible things. I hope all of you will not follow their example as a older student.
Pupils that did not get the cucumber, there are still many days till the last day of the year, you know! There is still some chance of you getting a cucumber, so don't worry. BYe and thanks to everyone who is reading this. a very special sorry to Jengwei about the cucumber business!>_<~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~HEEHEE!
